Día de los Muertos is celebrated the 1 and 2 of November, but the altars to remember the dead are put out before hand. Because of this, the markets are filled with all the things needed for the offerings. These include sugar and chocolate skulls, candy in the shape of fruits and veggies, various fruits, and cempasuchil (like a marigold and the traditional day of the dead flower) and other flowers. Here are some picts of these things in Puebla this past weekend.
